Not yet passed: Client → Search API
A directed path must connect Client to Search API. Arrows represent requests, dependencies, or event flow.

Not yet passed: Why query multiple cells?
Not yet passed: What should a dense query do at its work limit?
Not yet passed: How should hidden places be handled?
Not yet passed: API and data model notes
Write at least 80 characters describing concrete operations, inputs, outputs, state and errors. This check measures completeness, not semantic correctness.
Not yet passed: Trade-offs and failure cases
Write at least 80 characters about alternatives, failure handling and edge cases. Review the reasoning yourself using the reference discussion.
Rule-based educational feedback. Notes are checked by length only; topology checks confirm directed reachability. These checks do not validate semantics, latency, reliability or every valid design.
Use a spatial index to obtain bounded candidates and authoritative records to apply visibility and current coordinates. Exact distance filtering and a clear snapshot or best-effort contract make the results explainable. Validate finite coordinates, radius and page size. Select an index resolution that bounds coverage without excluding intersecting cells, including geographic wraparound. Retrieve candidates from every intersecting cell using a supported spatial query. Deduplicate IDs and apply exact radius checks with a tested geospatial distance implementation. Load authoritative place records, enforce visibility and use current coordinates for final filtering. A stale index may still miss moved-in places, so disclose the freshness contract. Sort by distance and stable ID. Pin an index snapshot for consistent continuation, or document best-effort pages. Enforce work budgets and mark incomplete results explicitly.
There is no single correct diagram. Explain where yours differs and which requirement justifies it.
